SAFETY AND RESPONSIBILITY
We have always been guided by the idea of a holistic approach to the product delivered to you. We choose only natural ingredients, we create effective captivating formulations by placing the product in an organic, easy-to-process packaging. That's why you won't find our cosmetics in black bottles and colorful jars, although we like their appearance very much; but in recyclable, economical and easy to dispose packaging.
PACKAGING IS MORE THAN JUST A JAR
For us, the “book cover” matters. Our packaging is developed not just to ensure the ease of use, but, even more importantly, to protect each product's ingredients from the adverse effects of air, light and microorganisms. That is why we like airless pumps and ampoules with a dropper - to make sure that the ingredients can have maximum effect on your skin.
We pack our cosmetics in clear glass and light plastics (only in polypropylene or polyethylene - they are plastics perfectly suitable for multiple processing). We like airless packaging and pumps to maintain the highest hygiene. Many of our products come in large packages, so that you buy your favorite cream or peeling less often, which will result in fewer packages being put on the market. We also avoid, for larger packages, the additional packaging of a bottle or jar in a cardboard box.
Even one of our face creams (best-selling 360AOX Cream), is packed in 100 ml airless, no "top" packaging, because all information is written on the bottle.
TRY THESE
GOOD TO KNOW
Cream in a glass jar? Gel in a brown plastic bottle? There are a lot of myths around packaging, like glass is always better than plastic. Meanwhile, uneven plastic, so-called the plastic footprint does not always have to be the worst. It can be e.g. smaller than for glass (due to lower energy consumption for processed and transport - the glass is heavy).
recycling
Organic packaging is one that can not only be recycled, but there are appropriate and effective collection and recycling systems created in certain countries. PP plasticand HDPE is like that, and it can be processed up to 10 times.
is better
Packaging made of colored glass, especially black and very decorated, will not go for recycling. Black packaging is not recognizable at all by sorting machines and glass factories do not want to buy colored glass bumps.
is a “NO”
Cosmetic packaging made of PET - made of nice transparent plastic in many colors, including brown imitating pharmaceutical glass, they are practically not processed in the EU.
PET recycling for cosmetic packaging does not actually exist due to the lack of economic justification for such a process. Beverage PET packaging is in great demand by companies processing it into a new raw material, and PET packaging after cosmetics, unfortunately - no. This plastic goes to an incinerator or landfill.
It is important that the consumer can easily discard the packaging, so the packaging has more chances to be recycled later. Below you will find instructions for cutting the Naturativ packaging.
